Wilmington Whiteface MTB

June 2, 2018 | Whiteface Mountain

Register Now Take on high rocky summits and breathtaking vistas at the scenic mountain bike race known as the Wilmington Whiteface MTB, produced by Youphoria Productions. Part of the Tour of Wilmington Whiteface weekend and a Leadville Trail 100 MTB qualifier, the race takes place in the Adirondack region in northeastern New York. Where Olympic heroes once skied down the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies, you will face a decidedly different direction — straight up. Good luck with all that.

The race starts and finishes at Whiteface Mountain, exploring Jeep roads near Jay and Saddleback mountains to a technical stretch of single track at Hardy road trails and again on the Flume trail and Whiteface mountain singletrack. This was the site of the 1980 Olympic Winter Games' downhill ski races — offering the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies. All racers ride one lap in the finish section on Whiteface Mountain.

Aid stations are located approximately every 20km along the course (20km, 40km, 60km, 80km, finish). Each aid station is stocked with Gu Energy Gels, Gu Chomps, Water, Electrolyte drink, fruit and light snacks.

LT100 MTB corral/start position
Wilmington Whiteface could not only gain you entry into the LT100 MTB, but it could also boost your corral starting position! Rider starting positions are organized in color-coded corrals. These positions will be based on a finish time from the 2017 (year prior only) LT100 MTB race, a 2017 or 2018 qualifier event finish time, or if you hold a current USCI Pro Elite license. Please enter finish times or license numbers when prompted during the registration process. However, if you race a qualifier after previously gaining entry, you MUST email Quinn Cooper at qcooper@lt.life to inform her of your finish time so you will be placed accordingly. You will not be placed automatically. Corrals will be assigned as follows:
